Job description

As part of the Africa Middle-East region, and more especially West Africa Sales team, you will be in charge of developping & promoting Gemalto products portfolio.

The account manager generic function refers to the Sales director West & Central Africa.

Main responsibilities: 

  • Develop and promote the Telecom Portofolio Linqus, Plateform & Services in the region of West & Central Africa,
  • Identify new opportunities and position Gemalto as a key partner within the Telecom ecosystem, 
  • Coordinate Gemalto tenders' answers,
  • Establish high-level strategic relationships with MNOs,
  • Ensure that relevant Market informations are communicated internally in Gemalto.

Desired Skills and Experience

Education:

  • Engineering or Business school diploma.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years experience in Account management,
  • Preferably experience in a the Telecom Ecosystem,
  • Preferably experience in the West African region.

Competencies:

  • Strong sales & Negotiation skills,
  • Good business analysis and mid-term vision,
  • Good oral and written communication skills.

Personal abilities:

  • Customer/Business oriented,
  • Organized, rigorous and autonomous,
  • Consensus driven,
  • Persistence,
  • Able to have executive exposure.

Languages:

  • French Mother tongue,
  • Fluent English.
