SAIPEM CÔTE D'IVOIRE, through its subsidiary, is recruiting for its DRILLING ACTIVITIES :

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

As Rig Electrician, you will conduct the following activities:
 Carry out daily maintenance and check of electrical equipment.
 Ensure ensuring full respect of operative safety rules.

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

 Be safety minded during in all works and behaviors, use compulsory protective equipment and ensure the same for subordinates.
 Carry out own duties according to the Emergency Preparedness Action Plan
 Ensure that before any maintenance activity is started, a proper risk evaluation is carried out, precautions are taken, and the work permit is signed.
 Attend safety drills and meetings held on the rig.
 Apply all relevant work and safety procedures issued by Saipem and the Operator
 Promptly report any safety hazard, accident, near-miss accident and non-conformance through proper channels.
 Carry good housekeeping in own working area.
 Maintain working areas, tools, equipment, and safety harnesses in a safe, clean, tidy, and orderly manner.
 Properly maintain electrical systems, switchboards, related electrical equipment, SCR control system, EO System and all electrical instrumentation including high/low voltage and DC System as per AMOS system

REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATION: Electrical Diploma

KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: Ability to communicate in english (read and write)

LABOUR RELATIONSHIP: Non-Fixed term contract,

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Min : 8 years of relevant experience

IT SKILLS:

SKILLS: Asset Maintenance Management System ; Offshore Crane Maintenance ;
Drilling and explosion proof equipment electrical maintenance ;
Electrical Technical Documents analysis ;
Fire and Gas detection systems ;
Rotating equipment maintenance Techniques ; Emergency plan and crisis management plan ; Generation and power distribution ;
Electrical regulations/codes/standards .

NICE TO HAVE: Position is open for Ivorian Nationals only.

LOCATION: Abidjan – (Offshore)
