Mobile Equipment Coordinator
Location : Séguéla, Côte d’Ivoire
Overview
We are currently seeking to engage an experienced and highly motivated Mobile Equipment Coordinator to join our team in Seguela, Côte d’Ivoire.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is a key member of the Organization. The Mobile Equipment Coordinator will be responsible for managing deployed mobile equipment maintenance performance and repairs on site including:
- Prepare preventative maintenance work schedules
- Track and record preventative maintenance of critical equipment, ensuring complete service records and inventory accuracy. Set priorities for preventative maintenance work orders, maintenance requisitions and scheduled work
- Communicate and liaise with equipment users regularly and managers as needed
- Maintain adequate supplies and equipment for the maintenance department
- Requisition work to be completed through corporate Purchasing
- Attend home and corporate committee meetings as required
- Respond to emergency calls as required
- Assist in the orientation and training of staff
- Complete all necessary reports and records related to the department as required
- Drive equipment maintenance vehicle and other home vehicles, as required
- Adhere to departmental procedures and systems, e.g., systems for preventative maintenance, maintenance requisitions, scheduled work and continued quality improvement/risk management programs
- Practice safe work habits
- Keep current with ongoing changes and new technology in the home and adapt accordingly
- Maintain inventory of new equipment, manuals and warranties
- Operate computerized preventative maintenance program
- Operate test equipment and record data
- Assist with Compliance issues regarding equipment use and preventative maintenance
- Operate, make changes to, and train others to use the Building Automation system
- Provide preventative maintenance and troubleshooting for equipment
- Carry out all duties with attention to client/participant safety
- Provide excellent customer service in all aspects of work
- Other duties assigned
This is a permanent position, located in Seguela with a work rotation of 15/6.
About you
- Technical Diploma in Mechanical, electrical, or Plumbing engineering
- Total 5 Years’ experience including 3 years in Mining sector
- Have strong oral and writing communication skills in both French and English
- Be familiar to Office 365
- Advanced PC skills and Mechanic software.
- Be methodical and rigorous and able to avoid or minimize errors.
- Sense of organization, rigor and reliability,
- Have a sense of listening and interpersonal skills, resist to pressure.
- Responsiveness and ability to manage unforeseen situations.
