Remuneration: Salary: FCFA 9 962 675 - FCFA 12 114 214
The salary will be determined within the above range depending on your qualifications and years of appropriate experience.
The South African Embassy in Abidjan is looking for a bilingual English and French Accountant.
DUTIES: The incumbent of this position will be responsible for the following:
Develop and monitor the budget of the Embassy.
Create and keep financial records
Prepare expenditure voucher and other appropriate forms.
Prepare monthly expenditure reports, including reconciliation and cashbook statements.
REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must have relevant three year post-school qualification in accounting or auditing.
PLUS 3 year experience in an administrative/financial or managerial capacity.
The candidate must be computer literate.
A valid residence and work permit in Côte d’Ivoire if not an Ivorian citizen.
COMPETENCY SKILLS:
Problem-solving, Computer literate MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel
Proficiency in English and French
Be able to take initiative
Ability to work under- pressure
Planning and organising
Customer services
Knowledge of accounting systems and practices.
