Who we are, and what we do
PEG delivers Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) asset-based financing to consumers who lack both access to reliable electricity and formal banking services. PEG’s anchor product - a basic solar home system that includes six lights, a phone charger, a radio, and a TV - allows consumers living on $5-10 per day to access clean light for working and studying after hours, avoid harmful air pollution from kerosene based lighting solutions, and also build credit for additional products and services over time.
To date, PEG has raised over $45 million and has over 600full time staff across Ghana, Ivory Coast, Senegal and Mali. PEG has also won numerous awards, including the prestigious 2017 Ashden International Award for excellence in sustainable energy, and was named as one of the “fastest growing companies in Africa” by the London Stock Exchange.
Purpose of the Position:
Preparation of budgets, forecasts, business cases, and financial planning for the Country. Support the financial FC and leadership team in analysing and improving financial results. The role includes performance of strategic and operational business cases to support country management decision making and being the finance business partner on strategic projects in the country.
Tasks
Perform Financial Planning and Analysis
Prepare country performance reporting for monthly and year to date results against budget and forecasts
Prepare monthly variance analyses of actuals against plans, forecasts, prior periods etc.)
Review of financial reports
Prepare 03-month Treasury cash flow forecasts
Prepare 12-month rolling forecasts of the Income Statement and Cash Flow statement
Assist to the Sales & Ops monthly meeting
Drive and contribute to relevant Finance projects
Business Partnering
Provide meaningful ad hoc financial analysis as required
Proactively partner with the business to identify and evaluate opportunities to improve bottom line business performance and ensure that change initiatives are implemented

Qualifications
Master degree’s
Experience / Skills
Has about 5 years of experience (Accounting, Finance or Business Analysis);
Experience dealing with management teams
Fluent in French & English
Good communication, presentation skills;
A team player, is cooperative;
Structured, agile, results oriented, customer focused
Acts with integrity and fairness and high standards of accountability
