Who are we and what are we doing?

PEG offers Asset-Based Asset Based Financing (PAYG) to consumers who do not have access to both reliable electricity and formal banking services. PEG's flagship product - a basic solar home system with three lights, a phone charger and a radio - gives consumers with $ 5 to $ 10 a day access to clean light for work and study after hours working, to avoid air pollution by kerosene-based lighting solutions, and also create credit for additional products and services over time.

PEG Côte d'Ivoire has grown from 10 employees to more than 117 employees in Côte d'Ivoire in the last two years. In addition to that, we have more than 280 commission sales agents, more than 26 service centers in Côte d'Ivoire and we have subsidiaries in Ghana and Senegal, PEG also have more than a dozen investors and donors.

The Position

Title: Water Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, pre-qualify, and acquire B2B prospects for the sale of PEG solar pump
• Formulate successful strategies to increase B2B sales and ensure annual goals are attained;
• Successfully develop, organize, strategically position, prepare and issue winning proposals and presentations;
• Assist with the development of sales plans to maximize existing relationships and identify new opportunities in direct sales
• Assume overall responsibility for the development of preliminary and final proposals and comprehensive understanding of contract terms;
• Build up a strong, high-prospect B2B sales pipeline
• Function as the primary customer experience contact for B2B customers and lead all pitches
• Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and activity reports and maintain lead tracking and customer issue tracking system
• Work with all relevant functional groups including but not limited to, Sales and senior management, to build strategic relationships and alliances with local communities and local organizations to drive indirect sales to various group members.

Profil du poste

The successful candidate must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferably Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Water Eng or any related field from a recognized University. Minimum grade to be Upper Second Class honors.
• Minimum of 5 years of Sales experience in the water pump industry with proven performance record
• Possession of an additional Business related qualification will be an added advantage.
• Result oriented and goal focused individual
• High energy and a sense of urgency in pursuit of targets and rigorous deadlines
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong networking and stakeholder management skills, especially at a high influencer level
• Remarkable critical thinking and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Bilingual (english / french)
• Work experience in West Africa
