Description du poste

Our client, a company specializing in catering, hospitality services, and facility management, is currently recruiting a bilingual QHSE Officer.

Objective: Ensure quality, food safety, safety culture, and reduce environmental impact according to QHSE standards for catering, hospitality, and offshore operations.

 

Profil du poste

Reporting to: QHSE Manager

Main Responsibilities:

1. Development and Implementation of QHSE Policies:

• Develop and update QHSE policies, procedures, and action plans specific to catering, hospitality, and offshore operations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations in catering, hospitality, and offshore operations.
• Propose continuous improvement actions to optimize QHSE processes.

2. Risk Management and Food Safety:

• Identify, assess, and prevent risks related to quality, hygiene, safety, and environment, with a particular focus on food safety.
• Conduct regular internal audits and on-site inspections to ensure compliance with HACCP and other food safety standards.
• Implement corrective and preventive measures in response to identified non-conformities.

3. Quality Control of Delivered Products:

• Ensure that products delivered by suppliers meet quality and food safety standards.
• Regularly evaluate and audit suppliers to ensure compliance with QHSE requirements.
• Collaborate closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve product standards.

4. Control of Offshore Crew Documents:

• Verify and control offshore crew documents, including certifications, permits, training, and qualifications required for work on oil and gas platforms.
• Ensure that all crew members comply with current safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Update and maintain a database of crew documents to ensure continuous compliance.

5. Training and Awareness:

• Organize training and awareness sessions for staff on best practices in hygiene, food safety, and offshore safety.
• Promote a QHSE culture within the company and among suppliers.
• Ensure that all employees understand and comply with QHSE procedures.

6. Monitoring and Evaluation of QHSE Performance:

• Monitor QHSE performance indicators.
• Prepare regular reports and QHSE reviews for management.
• Analyze incidents, accidents, and emergency situations to learn from them and improve existing procedures.

7. Document Management:

• Keep QHSE documentation up to date.
• Ensure traceability of QHSE actions and audit results.
• Manage the company's QHSE certifications and accreditations.

Required Skills:

• Technical:

- In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, HACCP, and other relevant QHSE standards in catering, hospitality, and offshore operations.
- Mastery of auditing and risk assessment techniques, particularly for food safety and offshore safety.

- Project management and document management skills.

• Human:

- Communication and teaching skills.
- Analytical and synthesis skills.
- Organizational skills and rigor.
- Ability to work in a team and mobilize colleagues around QHSE issues.

Experience and Education:

- Master's degree in QHSE Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, ideally in catering, hospitality, food service, or offshore operations.

Working Conditions:

- Hours: Full-time, with the possibility of regular travel for supplier audits, site inspections, and offshore checks.
- Compensation: Based on profile and experience.
