Description du poste

The Senior Mine Administrator will manage the operation as a visible, effective leader to ensure safe, optimal, sustainable performance aligned to the strategy.
Travel between Côte D’Ivoire and point of hire is undertaken within company time. Accommodation on site is provided in an ensuite room in a modern camp with good facilities.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities :

 Ensure consistent application of safety & health principles in all site interactions within and beyond site boundaries to ensure zero harm and elimination of fatalities
  Ensure development of site-specific plans/systems to reduce exposure to site-specific risks
  Provide and sign off input to the development of the Life of Asset Plan
  Break down Group requirements and performance targets to site level, translate into site-specific targets and budgets and communicate to on-site teams
  Develop, plan and set production and service strategy objectives to close gap to benchmarks and best practices
  Define clear process expectations for each of the key value chain processes and functions within an operation
 Lead implementation and hold people accountable for consistently applying the Operating Model as a platform for stable, capable and sustainable operations
 Assign delivery actions for employees at each level in the organisation in line with authority framework set by the Operating Model configuration
 Ensure execution is carried out through the Operating Model systems and work routines
 Understand and actively manage risks, opportunities and the required trade-offs related to asset sustainability
 Manage a portfolio of initiatives to sustainably deliver the plan, including stay-in-business projects
 Create coalition of support for site across broader organisation, actively seek input and best practices from functional experts to share across site and ensure that they are incorporated into all aspects of operation
 Ensure processes are in place to build relationships with key local stakeholders
 Establish site-level local engagement forums
 Create a purpose-led, high-performing culture within the operation that is aligned with the company values, is inclusive and promotes diversity
 Other duties as directed

Profil du poste

Degree in Engineering (e.g. Mining, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil) or Geology
Post graduate studies in management 
Key principles and elements of the Operating Model (Operational Planning, Work Management, and Feedback) and understanding of how to maintain its integrity on site
Business improvement tools and techniques
Commercial/business drivers in mining and processing industry, business performance variability and underlying causes that define subsequent actions
Integration and management of both up- and downstream activities across value chain
Leadership tools for creating a culture of purpose-led high performance and change
Sustainability impact analysis to establish a culture of full impact decision-making that considers safety and sustainability impacts alongside production impacts
Interpretation of benchmarks, identification of performance gaps and development of targeted, effective plans to achieve measurable operational improvements
Effective influencing and management relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders to achieve required outcomes
