1- PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE
Reporting to the Senior Geologist Database & Systems, the Database Geologist will be responsible for
validation, Data entry and upload of mine production, geological, survey, assay data and all other drilling
related data into mine production and DataShed database systems, QA/QC analysis and summary reports.
The Database Geologist will also be responsible for Mine Production and DataShed Database Systems
management and administration, ensuring that QA/QC checks are in place and dispatch of samples to site
and outside laboratories is properly tracked and follow established Standard Operating Procedures, and the
work is conducted within Endeavour established safe regulatory boundaries.
2- KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Accurately and timely daily entry and validation of mining and geological data originating
from Mine areas and Grade
• control drilling programs (ore production, crusher feed, grade control drilling information and
all Metadata).
• Ensure integrity of the data / databases and monitor backups. Enforce the security and
confidentiality of the data and
• databases at all project sites.
• Ensure Adherence to Group GC QA/QC procedures and guidelines.
• Ensure that Umpire and Pulp resubmission samples are selected and stored monthly.
• Assist dispatchers and other users of mine production and DataShed databases in
generation and customization of daily.
• mining production, equipment activity and performance reports in DataShed, and mine
geology team in generation
• QAQC, drilling, and ore production summary reports.
• Directly participate in the management of sampling and dispatch procedures.
• Liaise with Mine production database, DataShed service providers and site IT department to
ensure issues arising are
• resolved timely with minimum interruption to data update and reporting.
• Development of coding standards, QA/QC procedures and data validation protocol checks
to ensure integrity is
• maintained in the uploaded data into database systems.
• Monitoring of all assay results and updates in DataShed to ensure that QA/QC standards are
maintained. Compilation
• and reviews on a weekly and monthly of QA/QC data and QA/QC reports for all Grade Control
drilling programs.
• Ensure all QA/QC failures are reported in a timely fashion and immediate action plans are
put in place to resolve the
• issues.
• Recommend and implement database requirement solutions to support data integrity
efforts.
• Conduct internal training and support new Mine production and DataShed users.
• Continuously look for improvements to in the automation of data capturing and reporting.

• Maintain a cooperative interest in the health and safety of yourself, your fellow workers, and
local communities.
• Always wears Personal Protective Equipment while in the production environment.
• Be alert and observe, correct, and report unsafe conditions.
• Follow all safe work procedures and comply with all national and local regulatory
requirements.
• Ensure that work areas follow all Endeavor Health, Safety and Environmental procedure and
policies.
• Intervene as necessary, to ensure the safety of others in the workplace.
• Provide safety leadership by always setting a good example.

3- SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
• Geology qualifications obtained at a recognized University.
• At least 3 years’ experience in database management, in exploration or mining industry.
• Exposure to use and application of Microsoft Access, SQL, DataShed or any other geological
database.
• Good understanding of mine production and geological data.
• Well-developed communication skills-both oral and written in English (knowledge of French
would be an asset).
• Skilled in database analysis (QA/QC).
• Proficient in Microsoft office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience working in multicultural environment.
• A very high level of computing skills and ability to train others in the use of databases and
systems.
• Attention to details.
• Proven track record in geological data management, compilation, and validation.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
• Problem-solving skills
