REGIONAL TREASURY MANAGER
We are currently seeking to engage an experienced and highly motivated Regional Treasury Manager to join our team in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
Reporting to the Regional Controller, this role is a key member of the Organization. The Regional Treasury Manager will be responsible for managing the treasury function and gold sales of the West Africa operations including liaising and maintaining relationships with financiers. The role also provides critical financial information relating to evaluation of capital projects, distribution of earnings, protection of capital and cash flow optimization in the West Africa Region including:
- Manage financial risks including and foreign exchange (FX) exposures
- Manage short and medium-term cash flow requirements; Cash management including funds repatriation and VAT receivables
- Optimize payment process and procedure; Maintain constant and adequate communication with finance treasury and internal/external stakeholders involved in the payment process.
- Provide direct support on capital projects, protection of capital and safeguarding of assets by reduction of risks including operational, commercial, financial, and regulatory
- Manage funding of bank accounts and bank reconciliations
- Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions
- Manage the Balance Sheet to effectively serve the Company’s financial needs; Maintain adherence to the Company’s Capital Management Framework
- Manage gold sales process
- Manage Regional and Site Treasury Accountants staff by training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance. Provide leadership and mentoring to direct reports. Ensure the regular implementation of staff appraisal and training programs.
This is a permanent position, located in Abidjan, the work rotation is 5/2.
About you
- Master’s degree in finance or equivalent diploma
- Total 10 Years’ experience including 5 years in management position and Experience in Project Construction
- Have strong oral and writing communication skills in both French and English
- Be familiar to Office 365 Suite and SAGE 300
- Advanced PC skills and computer literacy.
