Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking a full-time Mobile Money Operations Intern to support market analysis, operational planning, data preparation and client-facing reporting. The role is well suited to a final-year student or recent graduate interested in digital payments, fintech, commercial operations or business analysis.
Previous industry experience is not required. The successful candidate should, however, bring strong language skills, sound commercial awareness, structured thinking and a willingness to learn. They should be able to turn data and business information into clear, professional reports and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and summarize developments in Côte d'Ivoire's Mobile Money market, including competitors, user behavior and marketing campaigns.
• Clean, organize and analyze operational data; support weekly and monthly reports, focused analyses and client presentation materials.
• Support operational plans covering customer acquisition, active-user growth, dormant-user reactivation, agent operations and merchant adoption.
• Contribute to campaign planning, execution tracking, performance evaluation and post-campaign reviews.
• Prepare clear, professional deliverables using PowerPoint, Excel and Word, including client presentations, operations plans, campaign plans and meeting materials.
• Document client requirements, meeting notes, action items and project progress, and follow up on agreed next steps.
• Provide other day-to-day operational support as required.
Qualifications:
• Final-year bachelor's or master's student whose academic schedule allows a full-time internship, or a recent graduate who completed their degree within the past 12 months.
• A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, International Business, Economics, Finance, Business Analytics, Statistics or a related field is preferred. Candidates from other disciplines are welcome if they demonstrate commercial interest and data skills.
• Fluent French and professional working proficiency in English, including the ability to participate in meetings, communicate by email and prepare written materials in English.
• Basic market awareness, a marketing mindset and sound commercial judgement, with an interest in customer needs, competitive activity and business opportunities.
• Strong logical and structured thinking, with the ability to identify key insights and form clear conclusions from data and market information.

• Good communication, ownership and execution skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and proactively follow up on tasks.
• Strong interest in Mobile Money, digital finance, telecommunications, fintech or digital operations.
• Available to work full-time and on site in Abidjan.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in market research, data analysis, marketing campaigns, business competitions or student-led projects.
• Exposure to digital payments, telecommunications, banking, fintech or digital businesses.
• Strong PowerPoint visual storytelling skills and the ability to turn complex information into clear, accessible slides.
• Basic SQL and database skills, including the ability to run simple queries and extract and organize data.
• Familiarity with Côte d'Ivoire's consumer market, digital finance ecosystem or Mobile Money user behavior.
