RECRUITMENT: CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO) (M/F)
About GAV-CI
Green Agro Valley CI (GAV-CI) is a fast-scaling agri-tech company delivering solar borehole drilling, photovoltaic pumping, and proprietary Laser Spray micro-irrigation solutions to smallholder farmers.
Since 2018, the company has installed hundreds of solar boreholes and irrigated more than 600–700 hectares across 31 regions of Côte d’Ivoire, with active expansion into Burkina Faso, Ghana, and Guinea.
Recognized as an Africa Business Heroes Top 50 (2025) venture and a multiple award winner, GAV-CI is backed by institutional impact investors and implements large donor-funded rural development programs.
The company is now building the finance function required to sustain multi-country growth and institutional-grade governance.
Role: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Role Purpose
The CFO owns the financial strategy, controls, and capital structure of the group.
This is a builder role, not a caretaker one: designing scalable systems from a growing base, safeguarding investor and donor confidence, and equipping the CEO and Board with the numbers and foresight needed to steer regional expansion.
The CFO is the CEO’s primary thought partner on capital, risk, and value creation.
