SAIPEM CÔTE D'IVOIRE, through its subsidiary, is recruiting for its DRILLING ACTIVITIES :

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

As Able Seafarer, you will conduct the following activities:
 Carry out shipboard maintenance and repairs, contribute to a safe engineering watch in a manned ore periodically unmanned engine room.
 Execute the assigned work tasks within the frame of his responsibilities.
 Maintain safe working practices.

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

 Report to Engineer on watch, execute the assigned work tasks within the frame of own responsibilities.
 Lead engine room ratings assisting team with engine room operations and watch keeping and carry out maintenance as instructed.
 Organize the workplace assisting the Engineer on watch to assure the correct use of tools and works execution done according received instruction.

REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATION: STCW required certificates, National CoP Reg. III/5 (seniority Expert/ Senior)


KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: Ability to communicate in english (read and write)

LABOUR RELATIONSHIP: Non-Fixed term contract,

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Min : 4 year experience as Rating for covering expert Able Seafarer Engine position

IT SKILLS:

SKILLS: Vessel mechanical equipment inspection and maintenance; HSE Work Practices

NICE TO HAVE: Position is open for Ivorian Nationals only.

LOCATION: Abidjan – (Offshore)
