Who we are, and what we do

PEG offers Asset-Based Asset Based Financing (PAYG) to consumers who do not have access to both reliable electricity and formal banking services. PEG's flagship product - a basic solar home system with three lights, a phone charger and a radio - gives consumers with $ 5 to $ 10 a day access to clean light for work and study after hours working, to avoid air pollution by kerosene-based lighting solutions, and also create credit for additional products and services over time.

PEG Côte d'Ivoire has grown from 10 employees to more than 109 employees in Côte d'Ivoire in the last two years. In addition to that, we have more than 280 commission sales agents, more than 26 service centers in Côte d'Ivoire and we have subsidiaries in Ghana and Senegal, PEG also have more than a dozen investors and donors.

Job responsibilities:

Manage relationships with the Mobile Network Operators (MNOs)

Ensure that sales managers are receiving the support they need in relation to mobile money and marketing materials from the MNOs

Troubleshooting issues when they arise with Mobile Network operators + Integration where needed

Enhancing the image of PEG with all MNOs

Coming up with strategies to ensure that customers are always able to pay through mobile money when they want to

Ensuring that all sales points are set up with mobile money, and able to serve customer mobile money needs

Ensuring that 3rd party mobile money agents in sales areas are aware of PEG, and are able to transact payments on behalf of customers

Promoting the customer use of their own mobile money wallets

Manage NBAU (energy and water products) credit team

Implement and monitor recovery strategies for NBAU products(Energy and Water )/participate in the definition of the strategies

Ensure that payment processes for are respected by the different departments.

Ensure periodic follow-up for Energy and water customers/set-up follow up tools

Take proactive measures to prevent customers from defaulting .

Support sales team as to monitor quality of sales (Cost Of Risk @ M3)

Profil du poste

The successful candidate must have:

Bachelor or Masters’ Degree in, Economics, banking & finance, management or related field
At least 2-4 years at management level in credit operations (preferably microfinance, asset financing or related sector )
Experience in managing field and office based teams
Experience in a fast growing, dynamic work environment
Sophisticated analytical skills, and a data-driven approach to analyzing complex problems
Experience inetracting with telcos from a technical point of view (Mobile money integration ,troubleshooting etc..)
Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to be innovative and comfortable to challenge the status quo
Fluency in French and English
