Who are we and what are we doing?

PEG offers Asset-Based Asset Based Financing (PAYG) to consumers who do not have access to both reliable electricity and formal banking services. PEG's flagship product - a basic solar home system with three lights, a phone charger and a radio - gives consumers with $ 5 to $ 10 a day access to clean light for work and study after hours working, to avoid air pollution by kerosene-based lighting solutions, and also create credit for additional products and services over time.

PEG Côte d'Ivoire has grown from 10 employees to more than 118 employees in Côte d'Ivoire in the last two years. In addition to that, we have more than 280 commission sales agents, more than 26 service centers in Côte d'Ivoire and we have subsidiaries in Ghana and Senegal, PEG also have more than a dozen investors and donors.

The Position

The successful candidate has an entrepreneurial mindset that thrives in a start-up environment, a creative strategist with excellent organizational abilities.
The role spans collaborative work with other departments to achieve company and unit KPIs, policy definition and implementation through piloting of initiatives and customers/sales incentives, in-life data-driven customer channel management.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve portfolio quality, cash-flows and cost KPIs
• Active member of country management team for the strategic steering of the company
• Recruitment and development of teams within unit
• Development and implementation of customer lifecycle framework (incentives, penalties)
• Development and implementation of customer segmentation for risk management
• Be the primary point of contact between sales and customer service to create awareness on their credit performance and collaboratively define action plan
• Identify innovative ways to collaborate with third parties (Telco's, MFI's, etc) to maximize portfolio health

Profil du poste

The successful candidate must have:

● Experience in a fast growing, dynamic work environment
● Sophisticated analytical skills, and a data-driven approach to analyzing complex problems.
● Experience with credit scoring and customer segmentation is a plus
● Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to be innovative and comfortable to challenge the status quo
● Fluency in French and English
