Job Title: Marketing Specialist

The Marketing & Growth specialist role at CSI is a unique opportunity to have a direct and significant impact at the earliest stages of a start-up in Francophone West Africa. You will interface between CSI, its business partners and users to cultivate the brand reputation and develop demand for our services. This data-driven role calls for a rare combination of business development skills, creative business thinking, and strong interpersonal ability/communication skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Work closely with the Managing Director and Operations Manager, and other staff to help execute our marketing strategy.
• Strategic prospecting and cold calling skills, ability to ask questions and assess customers’ needs.
• Post sale relationship management, build and maintain customer relationship.
• Seek ways to increase sales efforts.
• Design and execute end-to-end acquisition, engagement and retention initiatives (including local event activations, performance marketing, email marketing, promotions, partnerships, etc.)
• Launch innovative marketing campaigns across digital, social, offline, and other channels.
• Manage the voice & brand of CSI through content, advertising, email, blogs, and all social channels.
• Track the impact of our marketing efforts on user acquisition, engagement and retention as well as awareness and favourability among our existing and potential clients.
• Champion user needs and build/maintain internal communication structures to ensure that insights from user acquisition, engagement, and retention activities inform broader strategic initiatives and support the overall company (including Driver Operations and Customer Support) in decision-making
• Be a face to the business - you'll represent in interactions with various stakeholders, including users, business partners, and others
• Actively reinforce the cultural tone of CSI internally and externally

PROFILE
What You'll Need

• 5+ years of professional marketing experience with a proven track record of successfully leading user acquisition, engagement, and retention initiatives and projects
• Strong experience in digital marketing and marketing innovation
• Strong understanding of the Ivorian consumer and media landscapes
• Strong people management skills
• Great communication skills. You communicate & collaborate effectively in written & spoken French. (Knowledge of both French & English is preferred)
• Data-driven decision mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking.
• Creative solutions mind set with bias for experimentation to constantly improve and optimize processes
• Basic computer skills necessary (including proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, & presentation software) as well as overall digital literacy (including comfort and familiarity with Android & mobile)
• Entrepreneurial DNA
• MBA or Master's degree strongly preferred, but not required
