Multinational, specialized in the energy field (oil and gas) recruits: STOREMAN (OIL AND GAS SPECIALIST/AND CUSTOMS CLEARANCE SYSTEM)
Role and responsibilities
Under the direction of Operations Manager :
The Storeman receives, handles and dispatches goods coming into, or going out of stores and GEV yard/fabrication shop.
 unload goods and check them against order forms
 catalogue or label items with storage details
 place goods in bins and on racks, or stack bulky items on floors
 complete orders by selecting goods from shelves and checking them off appropriate lists
 package and send out completed orders to customers
 move heavy packages using forklift machinery
 obtain details of the location and quantity of items in stock, using visual display units or computers using the company NAV system
 enter details of received delivery slips, requisitions and invoices into computers
 count and record the number of items in store during stock-takes
 advise supervisor about stock and re-ordering levels
 help keep the work area neat and tidy.
The Storeman may be required to lift or carry packages.

Profil du poste

Education and Skills
 A degree level education is preferred although a minimum A level+2/3 years diploma in logistics and others is required for this role.
 Experience in a stores, logistics or materials management capacity is required with preference to this experience being in an oil industry organisation.
 Strong work ethic.
 Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
 Excellent computer skills with high level of experience using basic software programmes such as MS Office. Preference given to persons with experience in the use of materials management programmes.
 Dependable.

 Adaptable to changing schedules.
 Exceptional attention to detail.
 Team work.
 Ability to follow directions and procedures.

Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, sitting, reaching, talking, hearing.

Monthly pay
- 350,000 XOF gross per month with 25,000 net for transport allowance

Proposed employment contract
- 6 months contract (renewable) with 1 month trial period
