Bonikro Gold Mine is an open cut mine located approximately 280 km north west from Abidjan in Cote d’Ivoire, West Africa.
We have been a stable gold producer since 2008 in Cote d’Ivoire with an excellent safety track record. In 2018 Bonikro
Gold Mine was awarded the Mining Excellence Award from the Cote d’Ivoire Government.

About the role

We are looking for a Senior HR Advisor located at our Bonikro Gold Mine to join our HR Team.

In your new role you will be responsible to provide advice, guidance and support to the people leaders in the planning, delivery and implementation of our people processes and programs across the full employee life cycle. With a balanced and pragmatic approach, you will be well informed on current HR legislative requirements with a demonstrated background working with IR/ER concerns. You will have the unique opportunity to utilize your exceptional influencing and communication skills to partner with our site-based leadership teams to be the driver of change.

The role will work on a 10 day on 5 days off roster arrangement.

About you

To be successfully considered for the role you will be a true business partner professional with at least 7 years’ experience across the full employee life cycle. Previous experience in the mining & resources and/or oil & gas industries will be advantageous.

You will have an in depth understanding of the legislation as it relates to HR and IR/ER with demonstrated experience of conflict resolution, workplace investigations and managing complex negotiations.

Fluency in Business English is a requirement for the role as well as experience working at a senior level with the ability to influence and lead change.
