The International University of Grand-Bassam is seeking a candidate to fill the position of Female Residential Supervisorin the Housing & Auxiliary Services department.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
All applicants must address each selection criterion detailed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item.
1. Two years university education or equivalent and possession of a current Ivorian driving license (Copies of education documents and driving license must be attached to your application).
2. At least two years professional experience working with young adults.
3. Minimum age: 30 years
4. Speaking and writing in both English and French is required. Language proficiency will be tested.
5. Must have a thorough knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations and know safe operating practices of vehicles. A Driving test will be administered prior to final selection.

APPENDIX: Job description
Job Purpose
The Residential Supervisor is in charge of creating a safe, supportive and educational environment for Residence students.
Duties
- Enforce the Residential rules and procedures set in the Handbook.
- Handle daily operational problems of the Residence
- Prepare and distribute meal tickets to students
- Distribute and control recreational supplies stores in the Residence to students
- Assist students in the management of student lounge, kitchenette and library
- Control food service delivery
- Check if repairs are done properly
- Write in the repair’s book any repair and notify the Facilities Section
- Report all the incident in writing
- Attend to students if they are ill; take them to the clinic or hospital (if necessary)
- Drive students back and forth for extracurricular activities
- Record departure/return times whenever students have to leave campus
- Control student services equipment
- Be a resource person for Residential Learning Programs
- Refer to correct authorities for professional and emergency needs
- Be available to students requesting help for personal and interpersonal problems
- Prepare the residence for special meetings and visits.
- Encourage regular physical activity among the students.
- Store water and containers to be used when there are interruptions in the Bassam water supply
- Make a daily inspection of halls, bathrooms and kitchen for cleanliness
- Assist with other tasks on request of the immediate supervisor
- Report to the Residential Manager.
Skills/Qualifications
- Shall have license and be able to drive (will be tested for driving)
- Languages: English fluent, French fluent
- Computer skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Minimum Hiring Standards
- Two years university education and two years professional experience; or a combination of training and experience.
