REGIONAL EHS MANAGER
Description du poste
You will be responsible for:
- Developing, deploying and driving continuous improvement of EHS programs and results for WAF region
- Partnering closely with local leadership (both Ops & business) to drive and champion positive safety leadership culture across several plants/sites (Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana and Cameroon)
- Establishing the brand of EHS through education, coaching, proactive engagement and best practices sharing with leadership and employees
- Training and developing EHS talents within the team, as well as building up EHS knowledge and accountability across the various departments
- Ensuring compliance to local regulatory requirements as well as corporate EHS requirements
- As Regional EHS Lead, you will be required to travel within the West Africa Region to our plants and sites on a regular basis.
Profil du poste
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in related health and safety or environmental discipline
- 10 years’ relevant experience in EHS / risk management related role in a multinational company
- Experience in managing multiple locations and deployment of programs/initiatives
- Proven success in driving EHS performance and safety leadership culture
- Strong EHS technical skills
- Experience in incident investigations, EHS auditing and international certifications (e.g. ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, etc…)
- Ability to deal and work effectively with enforcement agencies
- Fluent in both English and French
