FO CORE PS
Description du poste
The FO Core Engineer will carry out 24x7 network surveillance of core network elements; collect and handle alarm information generated in the surveillance systems, check the possible fault status of NEs, fault restoration and perform event handling. Carry out preventive maintenance and manage network configuration.
- Carry out 7x24 network and service monitoring via remote alarm monitoring and performance management tools. Provide technical support in Front Office for fault restoration and event handling.
- Confirm fault level and distribute/escalate the trouble ticket to Back Office for fault cases or major events and follow up the progress.
- Distribute TTs/WOs to subcontractors and Field Maintenance Engineers in the unit of single fault, and support and manage fault handling in Field Maintenance as required.
- Regularly analyze network alarms and fault status and also to carry out routine network preventive maintenance based on the maintenance plan.
- Interface with FLM staff for maintenance activities.
Profil du poste
Qualification requirements:
- Educational background: Tertiary qualification (Diploma/Certificate level) - mandatory. Major: in Telecommunications, Electronics, Radio or Computer engineering – essential.
- Work experience: 3 years or more in Telecommunication/Computer networking with operations experience. (in Front Office will be an advantage)

Required knowledge and skills:
• Basic technical and practical knowledge of telecommunications networks and elements: GSM, UMTS, LTE core architecture - mandatory.
- Knowledge of PS and CS core domains – mandatory.
- Self-motivated, positive and flexible attitude – essential.
- Basic computer skills – mandatory.
- Fluent in English language – mandatory.
- Fluency in French or Chinese – desirable.
