PURPOSE
The incumbent will be responsible for delivery of the total defined Beer business plan for the West Africa region including addressing challenges and shortfalls. This will also include delivering on the significant compliance agenda.
West Africa region covers the following countries: Ivory Coast, Togo, Benin, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Guinea Conakry,Gambia,Liberia,Sierra Leone, and Senegal.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
French and English bilingualism
Qualifications
- Suitable university degree. Business qualification ideal.
- High cognitive ability
Experience
- Min 8 years’ experience gained across commercial and other functions – cross functional experience an advantage. A minimum of 3 years previous Country Management experience.
- Leadership and Management team experience is a must do.
- Strong knowledge & demonstrated delivery in challenging trading environments; understanding of channel, pricing, negotiations and strategy development.
- Negotiation and conflict resolution.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Deliver on the regions performance commitments and make a significant contribution to Partner Markets & Indian Ocean (PMIO).
- Lead the S&OP process for the region
- Inspire, Lead and coach the team, develop future talent
- Build and maintain the strategic relationship with respective Partner
- Obtain and apply facts and data driving to excellence in planning, decision making and performance measurement. Identifies and leverages technology solutions to benefit the business and drive enhanced performance
- Drive the compliance agenda for the west Region.
