QUALITY EXECUTIVE
GlaxoSmithKline French Western and Central Africa is looking for a dynamic individual to fill the rote of Quality Executive
- Title: Quality Executive French Western and Central Africa
- Position: Full Time Regular
- Location: Abidjan, Côte D'Ivoire
Main duties:
- Support the Quality Manager for the QMS (Quality Management System) implementation and monitoring of compliance within the Local Marketing Company:
- Implement and maintain effective Quality Assurance systems to ensure that local technical operations are in full compliance with company standards and policies, and regulatory requirements by performing the following
- Develop, specify and approve systems that have an impact on the quality of imported, and, where relevant, contract manufactured products
- Monitor and assess quality systems by means of audit and self-inspection
- Ensuring a quality assurance input into the main aspects of the local company operations that influence product quality.
- Support the Quality Manager for the liaison with supplying sites, Research Et Development and Regional Quality as it relates to approval of repacking activities and resolving Quality issues with the product supplied.
- Support the Quality Manager to ensure that all colleagues in the commercial operating units are adequately trained on the procedures and processes that relate to QMS implementation and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of relevant qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience within the Pharmaceutical / Consumer Healthcare industries, preferably in the capacity of a senior quality specialist or a manager
- Strong understanding of and experience in quality assurance systems particularly in the areas of product incidents and recalls, change control, artwork control and audits
- Knowledge of local / west and central Africa regulatory requirements with regards to Quality Management within a commercial company, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Distribution Practices
- Good knowledge on effective quality documentation systems
Other requirements include:
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Team work and people management skills
- Concise and persuasive in the description of the different QA situations
- Strong general computer literacy with Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Ability to read, write and speak English
