The International University of Grand-Bassam is urgently seeking an individual to fill one Human Resources Coordinator position in the Department of Administration and Finance.

The International University of Grand-Bassam (IUGB) is a private, publicly supported institution established within the framework of a public-private partnership. IUGB offers an American curriculum in English. It opened in 2005, and, by the signing of Decree 2007-499 on May 16, 2007, was formally accredited as a University within the Côte d’Ivoire higher education system. BASIC FUNCTIONS OF POSITION
Contribute to the accomplishment of Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture. Liaise closely with the Administration and Finance units and other units throughout the University providing a customer focused and effective HR support service to achieve the university goals and objectives. Deliver a wide range of Human Resources management activities with a focus on recruitment, training, and HR administration and organization development.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
All applicants must address each selection criterion detailed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item. An English test will be administered prior to interview.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalency; two years of HR experience
- Knowledge of issues and best practices in HR procedures and methods in an academic environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and French;
- Experience in delivering presentations or facilitating training to small groups.
- Excellent computer skills
