Country Director (M/F)

Empower Talents & Careers is seeking a Country Director for one of its clients operating in the medical field.


MAIN MISSION

The Country Director will work closely with the Group's General Manager in managing Sahel Health's operations in Côte d'Ivoire. The candidate must possess strong management experience, particularly in relationship development, marketing, business analysis, and negotiation.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

As part of his/her mission, the Country Director must:
•To be fully responsible for the management and activities of the company's dialysis centers in Ivory Coast. Currently the first center is located within the Nouvelle Polyclinique Les Grâces in Marcory, and two other clinics potentially in Plateaux and II Plateaux;
•Achieve the objectives defined by the Group in terms of number of treatments, quality of the Nephrology experience, revenues, cost control and margin per week, month;
•Develop and build relationships with the medical teams of the company's partner clinics and insurance companies;
•Develop relationships with nephrologists, professors in the nephrology department of the medical school, and other key opinion leaders in nephrology;
•Working with nephrologists to ensure the competitiveness and good reputation of the company in the management of chronic kidney diseases, which may lead to the recruitment of patients in the dialysis center(s);
•Work closely with the Group's Chief Operating Officer on all operational and logistical matters related to the company's activities;
•Work closely with the company's nurses in Ghana on the operation of the dialysis service, ensuring its full compliance with the group's standards and protocols;
•Working with the finance and accounting department on the management of financial, accounting, auditing and also administrative aspects, including the management of company risks;
•Monitor the performance of commercial and operational activities using precise indicators and prepare reports for the Group's CEO and shareholders).

REQUIRED SKILLS / SOFT SKILLS

•Possess strong marketing and relationship development skills to engage health insurance companies and their executives, as well as healthcare providers;
•Having experience in the health sector in Abidjan;
•Having strong analytical and commercial skills to ensure the financial viability of Sahel in Ivory Coast;
•To have a strong analytical ability;
•Possess excellent skills in management and building business relationships .
•Having experience in the healthcare sector and with private health insurance companies is ideal.


TRAINING

•Hold an MBA or equivalent degree;
•To be perfectly bilingual in English and French;
•Have a minimum of 10 years' experience in business management;
•At least 5 years of top management experience is required;
