Responsible person for driving growth on sales and profit within the West Africa current
portfolio of mining clients. This role requires extensive travel, with almost weekly visits to client
mining operations across West Africa. The Target of this position is managing current mining
accounts. This position is measured in terms of sales, revenue, cash generation and
development of initiatives in current accounts.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage existing portfolio of Customer in West Africa.
- Implement the Annual Sales Plan achieving of budgeted sales within existing
customers
- Sales budget preparation and monitoring.
- Analysis of budget deviations and preparation of mitigation actions if needed
- Conducting market search, analysing competitors, identifying targets and growing
company position in the market.
- Identify potential opportunities to add value through commercial transactions as
upselling opportunities with existing mining clients.
- Sales Growth: Drive revenue growth by identifying and prospecting new clients within
the Canadian mining industry.
- Developing new contract opportunities and pipeline.
- Develop value proposal based on new technical capabilities.
- Develop Business financials for each commercial opportunity on customer initiatives,
evaluating and assessing over its viability.
- Client Engagement: Conduct site visits and build relationships to client mine sites
across Canada to familiarize them with our product offerings and solutions.
- Sales Process Management: Lead clients through the trial phase of our products and
services, culminating in successful sales closures.
- Assure that can deliver the compromise on these accounts.
Profil du poste
Requirements :
- Ideal candidate will have a minimum 8 years of professional experience. Out of those,
minimum 3 years of Key Account Manager / Bus. Development Manager role.
- Also the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in generating
strong sales encasing large CAPEX within the mining sector and a proven track record
of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- University Engineering Degree preferred. Mining Engineering ideally.
- Experience in Mining Sector (big mining operations)
- Ideally working for Companies within Drill and Blast sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong
relationships with clients at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client accounts
simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- Microsoft software knowledge : Word, Powerpoint Excel
- Experience working with CRM Tool is considered an asset.
- Bilingual proficiency in French is considered an asset.
